Horsley Hills:
Horsley hills are one of the famous hill resorts of Andhra Pradesh. It is named after WD Horsley, who was the collector of Cuddapah district. Horsley chose this spot for his summer residence. It is situated at an altitude of 1,265 m, which makes this place delightfully cool, with a maximum summer temperature of 32°C, and minimum of 20°C. the shady slopes found in this are wooded with luxurious vegetation.Lushed With Natural BeautyThick verdure of various species of plants can be seen as one starts the journey to this wonderful place. Entire stretches of narrow roads are covered with the dense growth of Eucalyptus, Jacaranda, Allamanda, Gulmohar and many other species. Besides, there are also forest denizens like bears, wild dogs, jungle fowls, Sambar and Panthers. As one proceeds towards the hills one comes across the trees of Rita, Shikakai, Amla, Beedi, Bay leaves, Sandalwood, Red sanders, Mahogany and Bamboo.
